Us

Brighton, since 2000

A couple reading the lit menu board outside Moshimo at night, the tall MOSHIMO sign beside them

We opened in 2000 as Brighton's first conveyor-belt sushi. Twenty-six years later the belt still turns and the kitchen still makes everything by hand. Locally owned and independent. No group, no chain, one restaurant in one Brighton square, defined by its fiercely loyal regulars.

Fishlove

A Fishlove portrait, Judi Dench photographed holding a lobster

In 2009 we launched Fishlove, a campaign that became one of the most successful ever to end overfishing in Europe. A quiet part of who we are.
